About The Shetland Sheepdog
The Shetland Sheepdog is a medium size dog that
resembles the Collie in miniature. The Sheltie
originated on the rugged Shetland Islands off the
coast of Scotland. Because they guarded farmer's
flocks, they were first named Toonies.

Horn Mtn Shelties
Shelties come in all colors and sizes. The most recognized color is the Sable
and White (Lassies color). Other colors are the White/Blue, Bi-Blue, Blue Merle
with Tan, Black and White, Tri-color, ect. Shelties also can have blue eyes.
